Dr. Ruth Etherton
Dr. Etherton joined Green Trails Animal Clinic in 1995 after graduating with honors from the University of Illinois. She specializes in preventive and geriatric medicine, as well as dentistry and obesity management. Dr. Etherton recognizes the value of the human-animal bond, particularly in the treatment of grief.
Dr. Etherton is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians, and the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association. Exotic animals, such as small mammals, birds, and reptiles, pique her interest.
